This activity covers two different TEKS. It address how students will identify colonial grievances listed in the Declaration and explain how they were solved by the Bill of Rights and it addresses
summarize rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights.
Students will already have a brief overview knowledge of the Bill of Rights,
they will work in groups. all students will have the blank speadsheet.
Teacher will show them the first picture, they will decide with amendment it is describing,
then they will read the list of grievances to determine which grievance the amendment solved.
They will then put the grievance into their own words, write the letter of the picture, number of the amendment, give a brief explanation as to why our founding fathers included this in the Bill of Rights and then glue in the corresponding scenario.
