This PDF resource is a Student Comprehension Question Packet to go along with the book, How to Be Cool in the Third Grade by Betsy Duffey. According to Fountas and Pinnell, the book is a Level N and would be appropriate for grades 2-4; however, the appropriate grade level will vary based on the needs of your students. More so, the message behind the book applies at just about ANY grade level and is perfect for setting the tone at the beginning of the school year.
The packet is designed for independent student usage and includes comprehension questions, vocabulary, and other deep thinking questions for each chapter of the book. You can also use this packet as a whole class lesson or for students to work on in groups.
Included in the download is a brief suggested learning sequence as a guide for its use.
