I use the following format in my own classroom:
Day 1: Brainstorm ideas using the four square model.
Day 2: Create our sloppy copy (rough draft)
Day 3: Peer Edit (using the checklist)
Day 4: Make corrections from the peer edit.
Day 5: Publish final copy.
