General and simple step by step directions to cook vegetables 3 ways: Roasted, Steamed and Microwaved. Almost any type of vegetable can be used I usually provide broccoli, carrot, onion, and mushrooms. I use this as a cooking lab in conjunction with my Side Dish Powerpoint lesson. I also have the students make stir fried vegetables (recipe available in my store). I like to follow up with discussion about the likes/dislikes of each type of preparation.
