This is sure to be my bestseller!
After 12 years of teaching art to over 800 K-5 students annually, I have created six exercises that will VASTLY improve the quality of your students work artistically and will carry over into their handwriting and work skills. Each original hand drawn and hand lettered lesson plan focuses on a different concept which will lead to greater student awareness of how a little extra time can make a huge overall difference for even those that say "I can't do it."
FUAP! - Fill Up A Page. Drawing large will allow you to add more details.
EDGES - Touch 2, 3, or 4. Having a hard time drawing large? Go off the edge of your paper by cropping your image.
WOAH! - No scribble scrabble. Make your art go "Whoa" by getting rid of white space when you color. Hint: Do not move your arm!
FUAP PART 2: If you do draw small, get rid of white space by using other elements. Includes a sheet of over 80 ideas to think about that they can use to check off new additions they might want to include in their work.
OUTLINE - Make your art POP! Using bold outlines will not only help you stay in the lines, it will result in artwork that is neater to look at.
COLOR - Using all the colors in the box will make for more interesting work. (Includes a read along book suggestion: The Day the Crayons Quit which will reinforce the importance of using color.)
Lessons come with motivational signs you can use as prompts as well as reminders throughout the lessons. These lessons are new and not included in my book Finding Your Creativity.
Enjoy! I appreciate your feedback and I would love hearing your success stories! Please consider becoming a follower for bonuses and extras.
