This PowerPoint is going to make your (teaching) life easier by demonstrating exactly how to draw the Bohr-Rutherford diagram for the first 20 elements!

This is part of my cost-saving, amazing Chemistry Bundle!

I created this PowerPoint to help teach my students how to draw the Bohr-Rutherford diagrams for the first 20 elements of the Periodic Table of Elements. I also use it when taking up homework, reviewing for quizzes and tests and when I am comparing the Bohr-Rutherford diagrams of the different families of the Periodic Table. I think you'll get lots of use from it too!

Check out the Preview for a closer look!
There are 2 slides on how to draw the Bohr-Rutherford diagram of the atom and 20 slides for each of the first 20 elements on the Periodic Table of Elements.

The element’s information is given as the students see it on their Periodic Table of Elements. The slides are animated so the information comes in logically, slowly and in a professional manner (no distracting transitions).

The element information is color-coded: yellow for Hydrogen, teal for metals, green for metalloids and purple for non-metals. You can use this to compare the elements!

Information comes up when you cue for it. This gives you time to ask questions before the information and Bohr-Rutherford diagram is revealed!

This PowerPoint is editable, so if you would like to group your electrons together it can be done. With it comes editable notes in .docx and .pdf format. The note is only one page of content, and 3 identical pages of templates for the students to practice with.
