This activity shows even the youngest of music students how to draw a treble clef in a fun, easy way while telling a story. Students trace the model as many times as they need to then attempt to draw it on their own, telling the story. The second page has another sample to trace, then lots of space for them to practice. I always tell my students to use pencil crayons, coloured pens or even markers to be creative while they are practising their treble clefs. Then we circle the one that we each choose as our favourites when they come to the next lesson.
Students then can transition to using the staff, which is available in my Unit 2 theory unit (Notes on the Staff), available for sale in my store.
