Product Description
Reinforce sight words, practice sequencing, nouns/verbs, and writing a response with this fun and engaging emergent reader and corresponding activities! My "How to Dress for the Rain" mini book features the sight words I, will, put, on, my, yellow, time order words, and simple text that shows each step of getting dressed to go out in the rain. In response, students will draw a picture showing what color raincoat they would wear in the rain. They will write or complete a sentence to match the picture. I have included two response sheets. One with a traceable sentence starter and one without. Students will also cut and glue pictures, in order, to retell the story. I have also included a full color story sequence puzzle.

*This set is in included in my April Emergent Readers and Response Growing Bundle.
