How to Get Along with Grumpy Kids who are

Dear Readers,
This book was inspired by the feelings that came to me this morning as I read about the emotional aftermath of the children in Newton who survived the shootings in their school. The book I wrote on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder was a record of my personal responses to painful life threatening experiences. I wrote it for adults who could benefit from the information.
This is a different book. It is for the parents and teachers who are caring for kids who are suffering with chronic feelings of sadness, anger, and fear. It is a book of random thoughts and ideas based on being a public school teacher for many years, raising my own children, and surviving my own challenging childhood.
It is a personal and creative response to unhealed pain for kids and families who are struggling.
You are not alone!

Love and prayers,
