This LOW PREP activity breaks down and teaches seven important aspects of having a conversation- looking/smiling, asking questions, finding common interests, taking turns talking, stay on topic, adding comments, and ending the conversation politely.
A social story for how to have a conversation is included in both B/W and color. A check for understanding quiz is included to ensure your student was able to comprehend the social story. There are also NO PREP practice activities to encourage discussion and specifically target the skills regarding asking questions, finding common interests, and ending a conversation. 18 conversation starter cards (plus a blank page) and a visual reminder page are included to help your student practice using the targeted skills with peers in a structured environment.
