I am inundated with requests for assistance this time of year, and with all the IEPs I'm balancing, I simply don't have time to make every resource everyone wants by myself. That said, I don't want to just say "Sorry, I'm busy, you're on your own making that social story." This is my compromise - a step by step guide which should help even folks who have never made a social story before, or aren't super tech savvy make one!
This three page hand out has templates, so literally all they have to do is the time consuming parts - the printing and cutting and laminating - and I know that I've given them every tool I can to teach them to do it on their own. It also encourages autonomy in making resources, and an understanding of how they're formed!
