This Power-point presentation includes 100 slides which will “baby-step” you and your students through how to make your own: “Super-Snowflake”. Slides #2 through #57 illustrate each step in the process in great detail. Each step small step has been photographed, and includes teaching notes in the margins for easy understanding and guaranteed success. This lesson is one of the few lessons I teach that is appropriate at all age levels beginning at roughly the second grade and continuing all the way into high school aged students. Numerous variations are shown throughout slides # 58 - #100. These include changing the colors, types of paper, number of cuts and complexity, hanging solutions, two sided papers, added embellishments, using fancy scissors, creating your own types of paper, various combinations and orientations, and much more. If you’re looking for a fun and beautiful way to decorate you classroom, hallway, library, home, etc., then this paper sculpture project is for you. I hope you’ll enjoy this project as much as my students do. Enjoy!
