This Flipchart is a guide to get started on playing chords on the Ukulele (sometimes also spelled Ukelele). It includes hand position explanations with pictures, chord diagrams, a basic layout of the important parts of the fretboard, strum patterns, and a bit of my quirky humor. I designed this based on what I have learned in the past 6 months teaching Uke to 4th and 5th grade general music students. This guide will work as a class walkthrough and reference, as well as a guide for individuals or small groups, such as when doing music centers. It is suitable for Grade 4 and higher.
This flipchart was created using a Promethean Activboard, with the "World Color" setting on white to give a little extra usable space. It is 22 pages in length.
