Great for teaching the basic steps on how to read and write, and how to apply phonological awareness skills!
Fantastic way to build literacy skills, & pre-literacy skills.
A bookmark is a great and FUN way for kids to be reminded of a skill they have recently learned!
These bookmarks are fantastic items to give to your clients/students when they are learning how to read and write. I use them in my phonological awareness groups, when the students are applying their PA skills when beginning to write and read simple words.
Learning these tasks with pictures helps kids make connections and is a handy learning tool that is very beneficial.
Instructions: Print both pages, one is the front of the bookmark, the other page is the back of the bookmark. Cut them out, then glue back-to-back or on construction paper. Feel free to make it an activity during therapy/class time!
Enjoy, & happy teaching!
