Class blogs are an amazing way to organize your assignments, put photographing artwork and project submission in the hands of your students, and encourage students to communicate in a positive way with each other via technology.
There are so many options for class blogs, but I have loved edublogs, which is the focus of this lesson pack. Although the set up instructions focus on edublogs, there are resources that can be used and adapted for other blog platforms.
Under this platform you can create one class blog for everyone to post to OR each student can create an individualized blog to house their posts while giving them easy connection to their classmate's blogs and you the control of overseeing them all.
In this lesson students are tasked with photographing their project, uploading it to their blog, writing about their project and process, and commenting on their classmate's posts.
All in all this resource includes:
