Description
Students will learn to share their resources and understand why it is important. Each student will be able to divide items in half.
Begin by reading the “What does it mean to share card?” and the “Why do we share card?” There are three levels included in this resource.
The first level is to complete the task cards by finding half of each item.
The next level is for a student to verbally tell the answer to each task card and
the last level is to generalize the lesson by dividing items in half that the teacher gives them. For example, the teacher may give the student 10 pencils and the student would divide the pencils into two groups and say that five is half.
