This partner activity allows students to practice solving equations by clearing fractions and decimals. Each partner completes one of the two columns: column A or column B. Partners start by solving question 1 (they both have different problems). Once completed, they compare answers (answers will be identical). If answers do not "match," one, or both, students are incorrect. They should swap papers to figure out what went wrong. If answers are identical, they both solved the problem correctly, and they may move to the next question. Pairs should continue the same process until finished with question 5.
This is a great activity on it's own but I have students add this sheet to the activity side (left hand side) of their math interactive notebooks.
