For most of us, having a conversation is very natural. However, for many students, especially those on the Autism spectrum, it can be very challenging. Social language skills or pragmatic language skills, including conversational skills, can be taught. How to Teach Conversational Skills: A Visual-Tactile Program, offers a fun, hands-on interactive way to teach conversation and interaction skills with lots of both visual and tactile cues and prompts to aid in learning and practice. I have used this program with success to teach conversational skills to many students with a variety of disabilities and varied levels of functioning. Have fun!
