This print out is designed to help students correct spelling errors when making revisions to their written work. This was designed specifically for a second grade classroom as part of a bigger writing unit using the 10 steps of writing to write a Personal Narrative.
How this print out fits into the context of a lesson on Using Resources is included below.
"This lesson fits into the scope and sequence of the curriculum because at the second grade level, students are further developing their writing skills and utilizing the editing process in their own works and the works of others. This lesson is being used as a foundation lesson to familiarize students with how to write well-written and grammatically correct stories. This lesson will help them build a foundation for them to practice their proof reading marks and learn to read their written works and others with an eye for editing. These skills will be used to develop their own final piece of writing that includes all necessary components of a well-written, final draft personal narrative."
