Teaching Students About Complete Sentences: A Guide to Success! In all of our years as elementary classroom teachers, we have never had so many students not be able to write a complete sentence. After constantly reminding students what a complete sentence is, we decided to make an interactive slide show that will engage and entertain your students while teaching them the basics of a complete sentence.
Included in the 28-page activity is:
→26-page slide and game show
→Mini posters for writing a sentence to hand out
→Full page poster about sentences to display
This slide show will provide examples of "caveman" talk vs. complete sentences. It will also include information about the subject and verb (predicate). There is also a three round engaging game show about sentences.
Let's get our students back to writing in complete sentences!
