Ever read a student's conclusion on a formal lab report and read the dreaded words... "This lab was fun or I wish we did more labs like this". Students really struggle on what a lab conclusion is for! This foldable is designed to be used as a guide for students on how to write a conclusion using the Claim, Evidence, Reasoning method. This would be printed or copied so that it is two sided, layered and then folded to create flaps with the information on each flap. Now students will always have a guide on how to write a conclusion for a lab report! Each flap contains sentence starters to help students begin writing. The foldable also includes a sample conclusion, the rubric for how they will be graded based on a 5 point system and the procedure for peer review of conclusions.
