Help your students learn techniques for writing powerful introductions to biographies. Techniques included are: Question lead, Look-Back lead, Quote lead, and Description lead. Each topic gets 2 slides, one slide to explain, and one slide to give examples. There is one slide dedicated to how to transition into the rest of one's essay.
These techniques are centered around use for a biography, but they could probably be used for many expository essays.
For the examples, I chose historical figures as the topics. They now include more of a STEM focus. Historical figures included are: Amelia Earhart, Mae Jemison, Neil Armstrong, and Dr. Martin Luther King
