A step by step, scaffolded approach to teaching your students how to write an opinion paragraph with a topic sentence, two supporting sentences with two examples each and a closing sentence.

There are two writing models; "Exercise and Eating Healthy" and "Think of Others". Each model has a graphic organizer to aid students in deconstructing the paragraph. This process helps students to intuit the structure of an opinion paragraph.

It draws special attention to a six-step writing process; brainstorm, draft, share, edit, revise and publish. There is a checklist to aid students in monitoring their progress through a writing process.

The workbook is printed on loose leaf notebook style paper. This is useful if you live overseas and have trouble finding the traditional loose leaf paper sold in North America.

Two versions of some pages are provided to account for US/UK Spelling variations.

Revised and Updated on Oct 2015.
