Description

Take a fun spin on procedural text with computer programming for kids! In this lesson, students will learn how to follow steps and write their own steps for new codes using Scratch. This lesson was inspired by Scratch Help Cards from scratch.mit.edu. It was designed using the 5E Model of Instruction and has corresponding TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills). The lesson was made for 2nd graders, but it can be tweaked for younger or older grades.
