Write a more structured paragraph using an intro, detail, detail, ending format. Help struggling students with writing format by making the structure of a paragraph more hands-on using tactile paragraphs.

These work-along sheets are meant to be used as a group lesson activity. I use two a week. On the first day, I have the chidlren organize the sentences into a paragraph but not glue them down. We check together, and the glue them down as we check. The second day, the kids use the blank writing sheets to write their own piece about the topic and illustrate their writing.

In this download, you get:

✅directions for use

✅common core correlations

✅8 tactile paragraphs

✅writing paper

✅a "How Do You Spell. . ." booklet

✅an answer key

Although the title states first grade, you could use these in 2d grade as well to help struggling writers.
