This lesson teaches the basic steps for how to do laundry; including properly sorting to wash clothes and using the washing machine. It's designed to be a life-skills lesson for high school-aged multiple disability students.
The steps for doing laundry can easily be tied to the skill of sequencing for Common Core standards.
Some activities you can follow-up with include using sentence strips to sequence the steps for how to do laundry and having students make their own video of the step-by-step process to washing clothes. These activities are not included but build nicely upon this initial presentation.
