This is a simple guide on how to introduce the use of a protractor. I give it out to my fifth graders at the beginning of our angle unit. It has a list of seven steps (outlining how to line it up and then measure the angle).
There is also a 'Put Simply...' version at the bottom for kiddos who just need reminders after the lesson is taught.
