Students struggle with getting the introductory paragraph written in their expository/argumentative essays. This product will give students the opportunity to dissect already written introductory paragraphs, have them create supports, hooks, transition sentences, and write thesis statements. At the conclusion of the five day lesson, two writing prompts will have them putting it all together to test for student mastery of the introductory paragraph.
