PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This powerpoint contains some starter activities to be used before launching into lessons on types of crime. There is a word match activity on types of crimes and a picture reveal activity where the students have to infer what they are seeing. There is also a 'WH' question activity of a picture on a prison treadmill.

Activities are designed to get the students thinking and develop their questioning. Taught as part of a unit on Jack the Ripper and crime and punishment in the Victorian era.

Used with Key stage 3 year 9 pupils and GCSE students.
