My U.S. History students love to color and love to see their work displayed in the classroom. This resource combines both!
I initially created a collaborative mural for my English students (Edgar Allan Poe) and my U.S. History students were jealous! They also wanted a collaborative mural to color and display in the classroom. I use Howard Zinn's, A People's History of the United States as our main "textbook" so it made sense to create a mural incorporating one of Howard Zinn's most memorable quotes:
“We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.”
― Howard Zinn
