This is a great summative assessment for students who have finished reading Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Each student is assigned a different character and asked to study the character in depth and attend a dinner party as that character! This is a great assessment for those creative students who may not typically shine during a standard pen-to-paper evaluation.
This packet contains a dinner party invitation for students, blank place cards for students to create, conversation starters, teacher record of dinner guests, and evaluation sheet.
Although this dinner party is tailored to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, it can be easily modified to fit any novel or play.
