This PDF zip file is an end-of-the-unit project for Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn".
Mark Twain’s "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" is an American classic, and the central symbol (and mode of transportation) is Huck and Jim’s raft. When learning about Twain’s novel, students
more fully understand this symbol, along with accompanying themes and actions,if they are able to visualize it. This project is a hit with students and allows them to be creative while showing their comprehension.
Included in this project packet:
*Teacher directions with an "Order of Events" section
*Project Rubric that assesses comprehension of raft from the novel and its elements, student's creativity, and the execution of the physical project
*A project management log to keep students on task
*Passages from "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" so students can make their rafts exactly like Huck and Jim's!
