PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS PRODUCT IS IN THE BUNDLE OF GUIDED NOTES AND ASSESSMENTS FOR THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. If you have already purchased the bundle then this will be a duplicate purchase. This is an inexpensive lab activity on the effectiveness of enzymes. This product comes with a handout that gives brief overview of supplemental enzymes, the procedure for the activity and how data is to be collected. Also is a Teacher Prep page for the lab. Students can graph the data from three different groups. Students can test a low dose of the enzyme against a higher dose and compare that to a control group. For a larger class, groups of students can each get different doses and the class can determine the minimal dosage of the enzyme to get the best results without taking too much of the enzyme. My classes are based on a high school 4x4 schedule. This lab will take most of an entire period.
