This is a powerpoint presentation of Blood for Human Anatomy and Physiology. This presentation is separate from the circulatory system although the material can be combined with it. The presentation can be used with guided notes included in another product. I have also included some links to websites which contain pictures and illustrations which can be used as a supplement to the presentation. I do have some visual aids in this presentation. I also include in my notes of those slides which have links to images how I use them in my lecture in case you would like to add those yourself. Many slides have notes for instructor on my thoughts on discussion topics for that slide. There is also a link to a Youtube videos which tells the story of a professional basketball player who has a son with Sickle Cell Disease and their attempt to cure him. Video discusses the controversial topic of stem cell procedures. Another link is to an online lab for blood typing. I use a simulated blood typing lab for the class instead of the online version which is called "Ward's Simulated Blood Typing". It comes with lab questions that corresponds to the results of the students lab. All slides have animations. My teaching time is based on a 4x4 schedule. I am listing this for Higher Education as well due to students who I have had in the past who were dual enrolled at local community colleges and stated that we covered the same material in their classes.
