The purpose of this activity is to have students become educational experts on special senses found in the human body. Using the Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology eleventh edition textbook, by Elaine Marieb student will prepare a presentation. In groups students will be assigned a special sense to teach the class, by using poster paper and student created information sheets. The instructional jigsaw method will allow the class to learn about all the special senses within three class periods. This document is a word doc and contains a rubric. If needed you can change anything to match the textbook in your class it is very easily. Overview of directions are below and see sample PDF for better insight.
