Our school used this ice breaker for out APTT teacher parent meeting.
The bingo boxes are filled with interesting human characteristics, personalities, and life facts, such as;
Born in the same Country, Same birth month, Was not born in this country, Speaks 3 or more languages,
Can touch toes without bending knees, Is younger than you, Same first letter of your name, Plays football, Is an only child, Doesn’t like chocolate, Has a pet, Same favorite color, more than 3 siblings, same height, loves summer, doesn’t drink coffee.
Distribute the cards and pencils to each parent.
Announce the game rules to everyone. You could do this either as you hand out the cards or once everyone has arrived and is ready to get to know one another.
Parents must must interview each other. Have each player go around the group and ask other people to check off one box that applies to them. The same names or signatures on multiple boxes won't count.
If your group has a very small amount of people, the signature rules are more lenient.
Reinforce that socializing is a must! This entire game is based around getting to know each other, so encourage chatting and getting to know one another.
Declare the winner with a full or completed signed card or you could declare winners when a row (across, up, down or diagonal) has been checked off; this depends on whether you want to speed things up or not.
