Time Needed for Activity: 20+ minutes
Human Bingo has been around forever. It is one of the best ice-breakers around. In a matter of minutes, students learn a ton about each other and have fun doing it.
I tried to make this activity creative so there are some goofy items on the cards. A simple “find/replace all” on the computer can easily change any of the items on the cards. There are 16 different cards included. With a class of more than 16, you can print two of each. It isn’t going to matter if a couple students have the same card.
Directions: Each student is given a Bingo card. He or she must go around the room and find other students who fit each of the bingo spots. That “found” student then initials in the box. First student to get a bingo or coverall is the big winner. Don’t stop at that point. Let all students try to get bingo or fill card. You can also have it as a timed game to see how many bingos students can get in a certain amount of time.
