This assignment is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards on the organization of cells. The four questions are based on the revised Blooms Taxonomy. In part one, students will be asked questions that require them to define or recall information. In part two, students will be asked questions that require them to identify answers. In part three, students will be asked to justify their answer. In part four students will be asked to create a product that demonstrates their understanding of the standard.
- The define questions require simple recall and a basic understanding of the standard.
- The identify questions require students to apply using information from question one.
- Questions in the justify box look at common mistakes that are made, ensure that students understand the reasoning behind the science, and incorporate writing into the science classroom.
