A break-in activity that helps familiarize students with the specialized cells, organs, and organ systems of the human body. Students will answer rhyming clues for each organ/cell, followed by a requirement that they identify the human body system that the first clue was related to. Finally, students use a diagram to identify where in the human body that organ/cell is located. Perfect for gifted or advanced students in elementary schools (or give them a word bank) and good for middle school review or high school introduction.
You will need some kind of device that can connect to a google form in order to do this activity. Activity will take anywhere from 20/30 minutes to an hour depending on student knowledge, abstract thinking ability, and how many hints you choose to give.
