Product Description
Get your students excited about studying the human body and its systems! In this printable webquest/project-based learning activity, students will meet Dr. Marvin Picklepeppertoot, a kindly doctor who wants to hire them as medical interns in his thriving medical practice. But before he can sign off on their working with him, your students must "interview" and correctly diagnose three of the doctor's young patients: Jamarius, Taylan, and Selena. To prepare themselves for the interviews, your students will conduct research on the human body and its systems by accessing provided websites and completing the attached packet of questions and activities. After completing one information page on each system, your students will find out if they have what it takes to be medical interns!

The following human body systems are included in this printable webquest/project-based learning activity: NERVOUS, CIRCULATORY, RESPIRATORY, DIGESTIVE, SKELETAL, and MUSCULAR.

Please note: This is a PRINTABLE webquest; the research pages and patient project pages must be printed and given to each student. Links to websites are provided on each system page. Students may type the web addresses directly into their web browser, or you may consider uploading the links to a class website or via Google Classroom for easy access.

***Two versions of the "Introduction" page are included: the first version references a female teacher, and the second version references a male teacher. Two versions of the "Extension Activities" page are included: the first version includes the option to complete a 3-d human body systems model project that is available for purchase on Tpt, and the second version does not.
