Bundle Description
While you’re studying the different body systems throughout the human body, you can use these STEM labs to help build a more concrete understanding of their rolls. This packet includes a STEM/DIY lab that you can do for students to learn about the respiratory, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, and digestive systems.

Best practice would be to start with the lab when teaching the system so students have a background knowledge to build off of. It is important that as students are doing the labs, you begin to introduce related vocabulary. Later on in your lesson when you explicitly teach the vocabulary, they will already have clue as to what you’re referencing. Additionally, make sure their conclusions truly show what they learned. You may need to do a sentence starters or give them required vocabulary they must include in the explanation.
