Exploring the human condition in literature seems to be a "go to" assignment of many college professors. This journal is a way for students to begin to examine its implications in a non-stressful way. Questions, quotes, paintings, photos, villains and heroes (to name a few) offer a springboard into defining the human condition.

Integrate and evaluate multiple sources of information presented in different media or formats (e.g., visually, quantitatively) as well as in words in order to address a question or solve a problem.
Write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey complex ideas, concepts, and information clearly and accurately through the effective selection, organization, and analysis of content.
