All of the components of the learning process are included in this interactive digital lesson about how humans adapt to and modify their environment to meet their needs. Students will have the opportunity to engage, explore, explain, apply, share, reflect and extend their understanding as 21 century learners.
They will watch video clips of an individual stranded on an island and predict how someone could survive on that island by adapting. Students will explore a variety of resources to define and give examples of adapting and modifying the environment, use their new knowledge to identify what people are doing in photographs, and apply that learning by choosing between a variety of final activities.
