Students work in partners (or small groups) and research a topic of their choice. (A list if topics is provided, but students are not limited to those choices.) They are given guidelines as to the information they need to share and how their issue helps or harms the environment. Partners create a PowerPoint to teach about a their research AND create a student activity for the class to complete. (For my class, partners needed 15-20 minutes to present, answer questions, and lead student activity.)
A scoring rubric is included. To determine the points for peer evaluation, I simply averaged the class response.
