Product Description
This activity supports the following 4th grade Texas math standard:
4.2C (Compare and order whole numbers to 1,000,000,000.)

Teacher instructions: Copy and laminate the number cards. Pass out one card per student. Call one student at a time to stand at the front of the room, holding his/her card out where the rest of the class can see it. When the next student is called, he/she must stand to the right or the left of the other student, depending on if the teacher has directed them to put the numbers in order from least to greatest, or greatest to least. Then, the next student comes up with his/her number. This continues until all students are standing in order. Then, shuffle the cards up, and repeat, if desired. These cards may also be used in a station or small group tutorial.
