This is Part 1 of a two part set:
Part 2 of 2 - Peace Corps Stories Set
Set of 15 research guides for the stories in the My Peace Corps Story Podcast series.
Preview is an example of one of the guides.
Have students listen to the experiences of others who served in the peace corps in different parts of the world. Assign each research guide over the course of the semester as homework, or assign each student one person as a class project. These also make great sub lesson plans.
Listening to the podcast, answering the reflective questions, sharing with peers and writing a final paragraph should take about 70 minutes or 2(50)minute periods due to starting and stopping.
Each project guide is a 4 pages long including the coverage.
The story links needed for each story are embedded directly into each project guide, making it easy for the teacher! Simply share the PDFs with the students and they can visit their site link easily! Have them hand write their research on the printed PDFs.
All projects logs come in PDF format. I've also included the stories as PDFs and the MP3s in the event you are offline!
