As you work with your K-2 students on counting, place value, and patterns, a hundred chart is a great tool to put that thinking to use!
With this set of no-prep printables, your students will fill the empty spaces of a partial hundred chart, using one more, one less, ten more, and ten less. The set of 10 tasks start simply and then increase the rigor of the numbers used and the patterns needed to fill the missing numbers. Your students will also be challenged to use the Standards of Mathematical Practice to explain their thinking about how they figured out one of the numbers on the chart.
*TIP: Don't post a hundred chart as students work on these!
This set of 10 tasks could be used as a math center, a discussion starter, seat work, or even homework.
