Looking for a fun way to integrate some Thanksgiving excitement into Math? This was so much fun to do with my class and I'm thrilled to share it. Take a look at the preview for an up close look at the finished products.
Students will practice 1 more, 1 less, 10 more, and 10 less with this little turkey guy. On the turkey's belly is a hundreds chart puzzle piece where students write in their numbers. Then on each feather, students write an equation to represent each box on the turkey as well as a feather for the student's name.
These look great on the wall in our hallway and each of my students received great practice on this skill. Enjoy!
