Hundreds Chart with Task Cards
Students will develop number sense while practicing skip counting and identifying patterns by looking at Hundred Charts in different ways and using them along with a variety of task card and writing activities.
This pack includes:
*5 Versions of Complete Hundred Charts (regular; color coded to show even & odd numbers, tens, fives and tens, and when to round up or down)
*1 Blank Hundred Chart
*4 Charts with blank spaces for skip counting by 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s
*25 Task Cards for practicing even and odd numbers, skip counting, and identifying Least Common Multiples with the Blank Hundred Chart (Perfect for use with the Montessori Hundred Board!)
*1 packet for students to record task card answers with writing prompts for extending mathematical thinking
*31 Guess My Number Cards
The Hundred Charts can be used for classroom displays or glued into student math journals or folders for reference. The task cards and blank hundred chart can be laminated for repeated use.
I have used all components of this packet with second and third graders! It is easily adaptable for students in elementary grades or for use as an intervention.
