These 180 cards allow your students to practice building numbers up to 999 using manipulatives. One side of each card shows the number (standard form). Your students use manipulatives to build the number on the card. Then they flip over the card to view the manipulative representation of the number to see if they were able to build the number correctly. These cards are easy to use as individual, partner, or small group practice, a centre activity, and/or as a game. I have my set photocopied onto manila tag and laminated for longevity.
Included in download:
- 40 – 0 – 99 cards (double-sided cards – one side has the standard form of the number, and one side has the manipulative representation of the number)
- 140 – 100-999 cards (double-sided cards – one side has the standard form of the number, and one side has the manipulative representation of the number)
- Hundreds, Tens, and Ones manipulates for photocopying
- Instructions for Build to 999 game (I have my instructions and cards laminated and stored in a Ziploc bag.)
The cards were created for 11x 17 paper. There are 10 Cards per page. When photocopying these PDF pages set your computer print instructions to print double-sided copies on 11 x 17 paper or your computer could default the copies to 8 1\2 x 11 which could make the cards a little small.
